Just because it is called Wolfee's does not mean you need to wolf your food down...

Wolfee's, 842 Osage Ave, Kansas City, KS 66105

Student recommended. Wolfee's is your typical diner where everything is served in 1/2 pound or pound increments. They have daily specials, and hilarious locals. If you can eat the two pound burger, you should consider moonlighting as a professional eater...

Burgers were ok. Fries were ok. Everything is made in the little kitchen. It is a little pricy for a dive, but if you haven't eaten in a couple (hours) days... it is a wonderful outpost to people gaze in KCK.

New area to reflect

I am blogging it up to share my experiences this year: new school, new role, 3 graduate courses, 1 one year old who can walk and climb, and me and my wondering mind. Here goes nothing (or everything)! Read!

You have 18 hours to plan...

EIGHTEEN hours plus or minus the time you sleep or teach in a day to plan. 18. Your plan period (for those of you non-teacher folks is the time teachers have to plan lessons, meet with other teachers, conference with students, and general get shit done time) is around lunch, the gods have looked favorably upon you. Go forth and LUNCH! This blog explores the local eateries in the KCK and KCMO (yes, there are two KC's, you are welcome.) that we, Mr. K and I, could get to quickly, were recommend to us by students, or were hapsed upon because other places were closed. Two things we ask you to do: eat at these places and comment!
